Overview

Library Extension enhances your Goodreads experience by showing library availability right on book detail pages and in your reading lists. As you browse book recommendations or manage your to-read shelf, you can instantly see which books are available at your library.

How It Works

The extension integrates with Goodreads in multiple places:

• Book detail pages: Shows availability below the book cover and rating information
• Reading lists (beta): Optionally display availability directly in your bookshelves view

When you’re viewing a book on Goodreads, Library Extension automatically extracts the title and author information to search your library’s catalog.

Beta Features

Tips

• The extension works on both the classic Goodreads interface and the newer beta design
• For reading lists, enable the beta feature in your Library Extension settings
• The extension respects Goodreads’ dynamic page loading and updates automatically
• If a book has multiple editions, try clicking through to the specific edition you’re interested in
