New Features

  • Case LIB-748 Added support for worldofbooks.com
You can now see your library's availability while browsing World of Books, on both the UK and US storefronts. Audiobook CDs don't show results yet, and books with several authors are searched using the combined author name that the site lists.
  • Case LIB-749 Added support for awesomebooks.com
You can now see your library's availability while browsing AwesomeBooks.
  • Case LIB-750 Added support for openlibrary.org
You can now see your library's availability while browsing Open Library, on both a book's main page and the pages for individual editions. If you have Open Library set up as one of your catalogs, it is skipped while you're on openlibrary.org, since it would only point back at the page you're already on.
  • Preview your settings before importing them
Exported settings files now include your libraries and your general settings. When you import one, you'll see a preview of exactly what will change before anything is applied, and libraries that are no longer available are skipped. Import and export now live on the Options page.

Bug Fixes

  • Case LIB-753 Brooklyn Public Library is searchable again
Searches at Brooklyn Public Library had started returning an error after the library updated its catalog. The extension now uses the library's new search, so results appear again.
  • Case LIB-738 VuFind and Chamo libraries no longer report "no copies found" by mistake
In Chrome and Edge, searches at libraries using VuFind or Chamo catalogs could come back empty even when the library had the book. These searches now return results correctly.
  • Case LIB-701 Branch availability for VuFind libraries works in Chrome and Edge
Checking which branches have a copy could fail for libraries using VuFind catalogs in Chrome and Edge. Branch availability now shows up correctly.
  • Case LIB-734 More accurate availability for Biblionix libraries
When a Biblionix library listed the same title more than once, copies from the extra listings were left out of the count. All available copies are now included.
  • Case LIB-735 Searches and settings no longer get stuck in Chrome and Edge
A rare browser error could leave searches and saved settings unresponsive until the browser was restarted. The extension now recovers on its own.
  • Case LIB-710 Links to Evergreen catalog records are formed correctly
Links from your results to an item's page in an Evergreen catalog could contain a doubled slash. They are now formed correctly.
  • Fixed an error showing some results
Results from libraries that don't report how many copies they own could fail to display. They now display correctly.

Known Issues

  • OCLC catalogs are no longer supported due to changes in how searches require authentication
If your library uses an OCLC catalog, the functionality is currently broken and we are unable to provide an estimate for any fixes.
