Bug Fixes

  • Case LIB-378 Implemented a work around for catalogs running Koha that were unable to complete their search.
    An update to the Koha ILS software in December 2022 introduced a bug in the RSS rendering. This caused the Library Extension to be unable to search these catalogs. A workaround was implemented to attempt to detect this version and use normal search results. Additional details can be found at <a href='/koha-rss-bug'>our Koha bug status page</a>
  • Case LIB-390 Restored functionality with audiobooks.com after site layout changes.
  • Case LIB-392 Fixed title parsing if an exclamation mark was part of the title.

Known Issues

  • OCLC catalogs are no longer supported due to changes in how searches require authentication
    If your library uses an OCLC catalog, the functionality is currently broken and we are unable to provide an estimate for any fixes.

In Case You Missed It

  • The Library Extension now has the ability to display multiple matching results for physical catalogs
    This new Beta feature will return all matching items for physical catalogs. Previously, only the first matching item was returned, even if no holdings were available. This behavior is now more consistent with how digital catalogs will return all matching items.
    To enable this feature, open the Library Extension configuration page and choose 'General Settings'. Scroll down the list of displayed items until you see 'Beta Feature' with the description. Choose 'Yes, I want all possible matches to be displayed'
