New Features

  • No new features in this release

Improvements

  • Exclude unnecessary 'state' and 'country' information for special catalogs on the configuration screen.
    This change removes the state and country for catalogs where this information is not meaningful.

Bug Fixes

  • Case LIB-302 Fix the configuration restore feature for Firefox.
    This bug impacted only Firefox users trying to restore (or copy) their configuration to a machine. Firefox does not support the use of a file picker, so users can now copy and paste their saved configuration into a textbox.
  • Case LIB-360 Fix a bug causing audiobook results without a preview to fail to be included for BorrowBox.
    This bug impacted only a small set of results, namely audiobooks that did not have an audio preview. The observed behavior was no result or an endless 'search'.
  • Case LIB-364 Fix a bug non-available items in OpenLibrary results to be included.
    This bug impacted OpenLibrary results by including items which are 'Not In Library'. These results are not generally of interest in the use of the Library Extension and they will no longer show up.

Known Issues

  • OCLC catalogs are no longer supported due to changes in how searches require authentication
    If your library uses an OCLC catalog, the functionality is currently broken and we are unable to provide an estimate for any fixes.

In Case You Missed It

  • The Library Extension now has the ability to display multiple matching results for physical catalogs
    This new Beta feature will return all matching items for physical catalogs. Previously, only the first matching item was returned, even if no holdings were available. This behavior is now more consistent with how digital catalogs will return all matching items.
    To enable this feature, open the Library Extension configuration page and choose 'General Settings'. Scroll down the list of displayed items until you see 'Beta Feature' with the description. Choose 'Yes, I want all possible matches to be displayed'
