Bug Fixes

  • Case LIB-346 Fixed a problem that prevented Hoopla searches from working for users that were logged in
The bug impacted users that logged into Hoopla after another set of recent updates. Users can log in again and successfully see results that are unique to their library.
  • Case LIB-351 Fixed a problem parsing catalog entries with unsupported content.
A user identified an issue where some control characters could be included in the RSS output for some catalog search results. These control characters prevent proper parsing of the content, leading to no matches for the items. This change has been initially applies to Bibliocommons catalogs and will be incorporated to all systems in coming weeks.
  • Case LIB-357 Update the Library Extension to support the latest updates on Goodreads.com.
The newest updates on Goodreads.com include a more dynamic page. The Library Extension will now show up in the upper right corner, independent of the page content.

Known Issues

  • OCLC catalogs are no longer supported due to changes in how searches require authentication
If your library uses an OCLC catalog, the functionality is currently broken and we are unable to provide an estimate for any fixes.

In Case You Missed It

  • The Library Extension now has the ability to display multiple matching results for physical catalogs
This new Beta feature will return all matching items for physical catalogs. Previously, only the first matching item was returned, even if no holdings were available. This behavior is now more consistent with how digital catalogs will return all matching items.
To enable this feature, open the Library Extension configuration page and choose 'General Settings'. Scroll down the list of displayed items until you see 'Beta Feature' with the description. Choose 'Yes, I want all possible matches to be displayed'

One more thing...
